| Spring Gala |
An annual Spring Gala performance is presented in early June, depending on theater availability. This
production is an extension of your child's training and an opportunity for you to see the progress of your child
for the year. It is an exciting and unforgettable experience for all. Dress rehearsal will be during the week
prior to the performance and attendance is mandatory. No Exceptions.
Dancers will not be allowed to leave the backstage area during the performance. Audience members should
only enter or exit the auditorium between dances. This is strictly enforced. Traffic in the auditorium is
distracting to the audience and is discourteous to the performers on stage.
Recital Fees or a 50% deposit are due November 15th. (The balance must be paid no later than February 1st.)
Costumes are special orders and must be ordered early to receive them in time for pictures and recital. This
fee covers recital expenses, i.e. theater rental and paid staff, as well as costumes and parents admission (two
tickets). All other tickets may be purchased in advance at the studio or at the auditorium the night of the
performance for a nominal donation. Recital fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full.

Each Additional Costume $80.00
Dance South will engage a professional photographer for costume photos. Prices, dates, and other information
will be announced early spring.
No video equipment or flash cameras are permitted at the performance. The performance will be
professionally video taped and may be purchased at a minimal price.
Dance South is planning another fabulous booklet this year to be sold at the gala performance. Ads for
businesses and personal "well wishes" will be for sale in the spring. Information with prices will be sent out at
that time.
